OF THE LAKE WATER

A hand built platter of colored clays and 8 silver discs. All of my works is from the land and waters of our country.  This is what I see from a plane 30,000 feet above the earth.  If you turn this piece over, you will see the colours on the bottom.  A beautiful serving piece, it will sit well in the centre of you dining table.  23” in diameter.  Must be hand washed because of the silver pieces. I use these platters as wedding pieces.  I bisque fire then, take them to the wedding where the wedding guests sign the back with a glaze pencil.  Then I glaze the piece, and fire it to 2300 degrees.  The names are on the piece permanently.
