EARTH SERVING BOWL

This is a hand built porcelain platter, built over a plaster mold.  It’s colours are the colours of the earth, colored clay mixed into the white porcelain.  Its base is made from the clay cut when building the piece.

When the piece is dry, it is sanded to reveal the colored clays. Then it is bisque fired once, glazed and fired to 2345 Degrees.  It can be put into the oven, and into a dishwasher.  It is a beautiful piece to sit in the middle of your dining table.
